Swimming Pool Design Options
When considering the options for your new swimming pool design, the best place to start is by requesting a free consultation. We will come to your home, take some measurements and some photos, and discuss what you envision for your new pool. We will then create a 3D rendering of what your pool will look like in your backyard.
Pool Size & Shape
Finding the size and shape of the pool that would best fit your backyard space is the best place to start. Once you figure out what shape and size fits, you can start adding options like steps, lights and water features. Below are some traditional pool shapes, but yours can be completely customized.
Pool Plaster Options

There are many options for pool plaster, and the option that is best for you will largely depend on your budget. The lowest cost option is just a traditional basic white plaster, or you choose to add dyes to the white plaster to upgrade it a little further.
The color of your pool plaster will determine the color of your pool water. Some people prefer a darker plaster to give their water a dark blue color resembling a blue lagoon, and others prefer lighter colors to give their pool water a brighter blue color. Choosing to add quartz or glass beads to your plaster will make it sparkle when the sunlight hits it. Pool plaster options are limitless, and your project manager will bring samples when he comes to your home for your free consultation.

Water Features
Water features don’t have to be extravagant or cost a lot. Even a simple, well designed and incorporated water feature can completely transform a plain looking pool and give it a truly high-end look. The soothing sound of a waterfall or fountain can turn your backyard into a tranquil escape for a relaxing afternoon by the pool, or it can be combined with colored lights to create the perfect party atmosphere!
