Beautiful Backyard Living recently completed this full finish patio cover for our customer in Allen, TX. The term “full finish” means that the exterior of the patio cover is finished out and painted to match the trim of the home, making it look like it was part of the home’s original structure. The alternative to a full finish, which is also extremely popular, is leaving the cedar exposed.
Scope of the Project:
Our customer wanted to extend their small patio cover on the side of their home, and they wanted it to match the porch on the front of their house. We built the new patio cover, installed recessed lighting into the ceiling, added gutters, and ran a gas line. We also built a composite deck under the patio cover in place of the small amount of concrete patio that was there. This project turned out beautifully, and the patio cover and deck combined with the metal fence give this home a modern colonial feel.
